The Makai Modern Hawaiian Blend from Outpost Coffee is no typical Hawaiian blend. Customarily, companies set out to make the most profit possible from the Hawaiian blend label, and so source cheaper grades of Hawaiian beans and blend them with low quality coffees from around the world. The Makai Modern from Outpost Coffee however, uses quality coffee from Kona farms and blends it (to represent a collective terroir) with organic Latin American beans from producers with the same high standards and values.
