The Hawaiian sun, in all its glory, should not be underestimated. Mystic Rose has created Hawaiian Sun, a daily-use botanical oil for both sunburn prevention and alleviation. Harnessing the protective properties of the traditional Hawaiian healing plants, noni and naupaka, this oil optimizes skin health and is also safe for children and pregnant or nursing women. Noni has been used for 2,000 in Polynesian cultures to treat skin ailments such as rashes, acne, wounds, inflammation, and sunburn. Naupaka, a coastal-growing plant, may have been used as a natural sunblock, and recent studies reveal UV-blocking properties, at a level of SPF 20. Hawaiian Sun oil is also comprised of kukui nut oil, containing essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants, as well as lavender, peppermint, and helichrysum essential oils.
